Preparing for a Restriction Window

What to check before restrictions begin, and where to find more information.

Updated October 8, 2026

How should I prepare for a restriction window?

Review your open positions, pending orders and available funds before restrictions begin.

Ensure your account can support its exposure without temporarily removed trading credit or under the reduced leverage limits. Where necessary, reduce your positions or deposit sufficient cleared funds before the window starts.

Do these controls protect me from losses or guarantee my stop-loss price?

No. Trading remains subject to market risk. Volatility, price gaps, reduced liquidity and slippage can still cause losses.

Stop-loss orders do not guarantee execution at the requested price.

Can the restrictions be extended or changed?

TX3 Markets may apply additional risk measures or vary the scheduled controls where permitted under its Terms and Conditions.

Any extension or variation will be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to applicable notice requirements.

Where can I find more information?

Please refer to the News and Weekend Risk Controls section of our Terms and Conditions, our Risk Disclosure, and the event schedules sent by email.

If you need help understanding how the controls apply to your account, please contact the TX3 Markets Support Team.
