One Entry per Client and One Competition at a Time
How the one entry per client and one active competition per account rules work, and what they mean for you as an entrant.
Two rules keep competitions fair and stop a single trader from filling the leaderboard with multiple accounts.
One entry per client
Many clients hold several MT5 logins. When this rule is on, which is the usual default, each person gets a single entry, identified against their client profile rather than by account number. This prevents one trader from entering several accounts and taking most of the prizes.
What this means for you:
If an account cannot be linked to a client profile, it cannot enter.
The rule cannot be changed once a competition has started, so everyone is held to the same standard.
One active competition per account
Each MT5 account holds one live entry at a time, across all competitions, so the same trades cannot count toward two prize pools. In practice, each of your accounts can be in only one competition at a time.
