How to Enter a Competition
How to enter a TX3 competition through the client portal, the difference between public and invite-only, and why entry can be refused.
There are two ways to enter a TX3 competition, depending on how it was set up.
Public competition
Open the competition module in the TX3 client portal.
Enter your MT5 account number.
If your account is eligible, it joins immediately and your baseline is captured at that moment.
Invite-only competition
The organiser gives you a share code in the format TX3-XXXX-XXXX.
Choose Join private and pick the competition.
Enter your account number together with the code.
What if my account cannot enter?
You are told which requirement you did not meet, such as the wrong account type, a balance below the minimum, or already being entered elsewhere, so the reason is clear up front. For privacy, the messages never reveal which other competition an account is in, since anyone can type any account number into the form.
When is my starting point captured?
At the moment you enter. For Return %, your starting capital is recorded then, so only your activity from that point forward is scored.
