Inactivity Fee
Learn when an account is considered inactive, how inactivity fees are calculated, and how to avoid being charged.
What is an inactivity fee?
An inactivity fee is a monthly charge applied to accounts that have had no trading activity for a defined period while maintaining a positive balance.
When is an account considered inactive?
Your account is classified as inactive if:
There has been no trading activity for ninety (90) consecutive days, and
No trades were opened or closed, and
No deposits or withdrawals were made during that period, and
The account balance is two thousand USD ($2,000) or higher
How much is the inactivity fee?
The inactivity fee is:
Two percent (2%) of your remaining account balance per month, or
A minimum of ten USD ($10) per month
Whichever amount is higher will be charged
When is the fee applied?
The fee is applied monthly once your account has passed ninety (90) days of inactivity
How can I avoid the inactivity fee?
You can avoid the inactivity fee by resuming trading activity at any time before or after your account reaches ninety (90) days of inactivity
What happens if the calculated fee is below $10?
If two percent (2%) of your balance is less than ten USD ($10), the minimum monthly fee of ten USD ($10) will still apply
